Bomb Shelter Comedy Open Mic

Thursday nights are a two-part operation.

At 7 PM, we play music bingo. At 9 PM, the music stops and the anxiety begins.

Welcome to the Bomb Shelter Open Mic.
I am handing a live microphone to unvetted locals. The sign-up list is open to anyone. You get exactly five minutes on stage to seek validation from a room full of strangers. If your jokes die, the concrete walls will absorb the silence.

The flyer says “A Safe Place.” This is a marketing lie. It is an emotional meat grinder.

Come test your material. Or just sit in the dark, buy a drink, and watch your neighbors risk their dignity under the stage lights. It is a fantastic spectator sport.
