Roasted Karaoke Contest

We are hosting a Karaoke Contest. We are putting $175 in cash on the line to see who has the best voice, or at least the most unwarranted confidence. Tokers got Talent has an originality component that makes it hard to win for karaoke singers so we thought we’d have an event just for the very good singers that don’t write their own material.

Be prepared to sing at least two songs if you get into the finals.

The Judging:
The panel consists of myself, Sound Boy, and Laura Crockarell. We are entirely unqualified. Furthermore, we are allowing the audience to cast votes for each performer. This means the system is flawed and highly susceptible to mob rule. If you want to win, we highly suggest bringing your friends to stack the ballot box.

The Competition:
Costumes, props, and choreography are completely allowed, but not required. However, you need to know what you are competing against. Someone is absolutely going to show up in full wardrobe with a rehearsed dance routine. Prepare your ego accordingly.

The Logistics:

When: Saturday, May 30th.

Time: Sign-ups open exactly at 7:00 PM. Do not be late.

The Cut: 1st Place: $100 | 2nd Place: $50 | 3rd Place: $25.

Entry: No entry fee. 21+ only. ID required.
