Meet Your Budtender: Ethan 🌿
🍫We asked Ethan what his go-to snack on shift is, and he said it’s a toss-up, and everyone at the shop already knows this one. 😂
It’s either Reese’s, peanut butter anything, or a Red Bull. 🥜⚡
And yes, Ethan knows Red Bull technically isn’t a snack, but according to him, it counts. We’re not here to argue with a man and his liquid snack choices. 😂
🎶 His shift anthem?
At first, Ethan said “Freaking Out” by Dexter and The Moonrocks, but his anthem is always changing, and we got to watch that happen in real time. Not long after, he came back with an update: “American You” by Yelawolf. With a shoutout to Stokes for that one. 🎤
In Ethan’s own words: “That’s the beauty of my life right now. It’s always changing.”
And honestly, that fits him pretty well.
📍 At the shop, Ethan says he’s most knowledgeable about glass, especially water apparatuses💨He has a nice piece himself, so he knows how different down stems can create different bubble effects, and how the thickness of the glass can affect how the water bubbles. So yes, according to Ethan, all of that matters. And definitely, we believe him. 😂
🤝 His favorite part of the job is his coworkers. 💚
Ethan said he’s had coworkers from the military, construction, retail, and now Roasted, but what makes this place different is being able to come to his Roasted family with what’s going on and know they’ll be there for him immediately.
And yes, that answer did sneak up and punch us directly in the feelings. 🥹
🎵 Fun Fact: Ethan is a serious musician.
From fifth grade until 2018, he practiced some kind of instrument every day, whether it was voice, piano, or classical instruments. He was an All-State musician in high school for two years, served in the Navy, and now continues his music path at Tennessee Tech.
And with the rate he’s going, we think Ethan might end up as the official Roasted Maestro. 🎶🔥
